Get Living - Electric Spinach

East Village, Olympic Park, Stratford:

East Village had 9 separate plots with numerous legacy EV Chargers which were in the region of 10 years old. The EV Chargers did not have the safety technology seen today in commercial EV Chargers, nor did they have the technology to implement software that would enable management functionality such as reporting, monetisation and ESG data capture.

The company who installed the original EV Chargers were no longer trading and there was no associated paperwork to fall back on for technical support. We had never seen or heard of the said EV Chargers, so our first step was to attempt to contact the manufacturer. It transpired the manufacturer had also ceased trading but the EV Charging assets had been taken over by an organisation, where we managed to track down the parent company in Norway.

After exhausting all available options, it became clear that the EV Chargers would not be fit for purpose and would need replacing.
